NA Chairwoman visits beneficiaries’ families

National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on July 26th visited and gave presents to beneficiaries’ families in Ho Chi Minh city’s Cu Chi district, marking the 70th anniversary of the Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs.

The NA Chairwoman and her working delegation visited and gave presents to Vietnamese heroic mothers and wounded soldiers; and commemorated martyrs at their family homes.

Visiting Vietnamese heroic mothers’, martyrs’ and wounded soldiers’ families, the NA Chairwoman, on behalf of the Party and State, expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifice and contributions of wounded soldiers, martyrs and revolutionary contributors towards national liberation, construction and protection.

She wished Vietnamese heroic mothers good health and longevity; and encouraged beneficiaries’ families to boost production, making contribution to national development.

At his home, wounded soldier Tran Vay thanked the NA Chairwoman, Ho Chi Minh city and Cu Chi district leaders for visiting them, adding that his family would educate the young generation on obeying the Party and State guidelines and policies, and strive to boost production for a better living standard.

On the same day, the NA Chairwoman led a delegation of Ho Chi Minh city leaders to lay a wreath and commemorate martyrs at the Cu Chi district Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple./.
