The Party General Secretary and State President mentioned 4 contents of personnel work, including the position, significance and importance of preparations of personnel work; requirements for personnel work; content and method of implementation; and our responsibility.
He noted that in any revolutionary period, in any field or locality, the personnel work of cadres always plays a decisive role. Personnel work plays a key role in building the Party, and is an important link in all activities of the Party, determining the success or failure of the revolution.
“Preparing personnel work for the 13th National Party Congress is preparing personnel for the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, key cadres, especially the heads,” he said. “If the right people are chosen, the country will develop and the people will benefit from it.”
“It is necessary to choose cadres who have both good moral qualities; loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; and have talent, intelligence, vision and strategic thinking,” he went on to say, adding that selecting personnel is an especially crucial task which relates to the survival of the Party, the sustainable development of the Party and the country.
