Prime Minister visits new style rural commune

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and a working delegation from the Government on August 15th visited Nam Giang commune which successfully realised the program on building new style rural areas, and some constructions in the central province of Nghe An.

Nam Giang new style rural commune belongs to Nam Dan district.

It is a key commune for tourism development of Nam Dan district. It has two industrial clusters with 3 enterprises, creating jobs for over 6,000 laborers. Besides, the commune focuses on developing small scale industry by producing woven rattan and bamboo, and stone pictures.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visits Nguyen Tuan Anh’s farm model on hill land, in which a wide range of drought-resistant trees are planted on an area of some 6 hectares. Notably, the lemon trees produce 60 tons of fruit and bring in a turnover of some VND1.2 billion per year. 

The Prime Minister reminds local residents to protect the environment during production.

The PM visits and inspects the progress of the Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) project.
This is the 7th industrial zone of VSIP in Vietnam.

He inspects the building of Nghi Thiet Vissai Port. As planned, by 2030, the port will cover an area of 407 hectares, allowing
70,000 tonne vessels to anchor.
