Seven delegations set up to deal with corruption cases

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Head of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, has signed a decision setting up seven delegations to inspect corruption cases as well as prosecuting, investigating and judging serious corruption and economic cases.

Accordingly, the 1st delegation led by Mr Tran Quoc Vuong, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the PCC Commission on Inspection, and Deputy Head of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces.

The 2nd one, led by senior lieutenant-general To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security and Deputy Head of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Phu Tho and Son La provinces.

The 3rd one, led by Mr Phan Dinh Trac, PCC member, Head of the PCC Commission on Internal Affairs, and Standing Deputy Head of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Bac Ninh and Tay Ninh provinces.

The 4th one, led by Mr Nguyen Hoa Binh, Secretary of the PCC, President of the Supreme People’s Court, and member of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Hau Giang and Ben Tre provinces.

The 5th one, led by Mr Le Minh Tri, PCC member, President of the People’s Supreme Procuracy, and member of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Phu Yen and Binh Phuoc provinces.

The 6th delegation, led by Mr Phan Van Sau, PCC member, Government General Inspectorate and member of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces.

The 7th one, led by Ms Le Thi Nga, PCC member, Head of the National Assembly Committee on Justice, and member of the central steering committee on corruption prevention, will work in Long An and Tien Giang provinces.

The results of the inspections will be reported to the central steering committee on corruption prevention between August 20th and October 20th./.
