Sixth PCC meeting opens

Accordingly, the PCC will discuss socio-economic situation and finance and budget in 2017, estimate socio-economic development plan and finance and budget for 2018; an increase in people’s healthcare and population work; continued renewal of the organization and management systems; continued renewal and arrangement of apparatus of the political system; and some other issues.

In his opening speech, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that the meeting mentioned big issues which relate to annual socio-economic development, social development renewal, and political renewal synchronous with economic development renewal. “All are important, complex and sensitive issues which directly affect people’s lives, a majority of cadres, officials and labourers across the country,” he said.

He urged PCC members to promote a high sense of responsibility to discuss the reports, draft resolutions and conclusions for adoption./.
