In his opening speech, Dao Viet Trung, PCC member, Secretary of the State President Office Party Committee and Head of the Office, said that the Party Committee had carried out a lot of solutions to increase the dissemination and teaching of political ideology, morality and lifestyle among cadres, Party members and laborers, thus contributing to preventing a degradation of political ideology, morality and lifestyle in the Party.

“Increased solutions have been implemented to build the Party and heighten its leadership and combativeness, as well as to protect internal politics, and admit outstanding individuals to the Party,” he added.

According to Mr. Trung, in the future, the Party Committee will focus on increasing Party building and rectification; and building a pure and strong Party Committee, in order to satisfy the demand for research and consultancy work, serving internal and external affairs of the State President and Vice State President.

Addressing the Congress, Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh noted that the Party Committee had regularly updated the Party and State resolutions, policies and guidelines for arousing high consensus at work among the staff. “Cadres and Party members have made efforts to increase the quality of work through law building on socio-economic, security and defence, external affairs areas,” she stressed.

Praising the Party Committee’s achievements, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies Bloc Do Ngoc An suggested the committee develop political, ideological and moral strength. “Party organizations, cadres and Party members should master and well implement political program, Party charter, Constitution and laws at work; proactively and promptly struggle against wrong arguments by hostile forces; educate cadres and Party members to have firm political stuff and develop strong Party organizations,” he went on to say.

A new Party Executive Board was elected which included 6 members, while 2 official delegates and one alternate delegate were also chosen to attend the Central Agencies Bloc Party Congress term 2020 - 2025./.
