Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and head of the PCC’s Commission on Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong made a speech at the conference.
The event was organized online with the central main bridge at Dien Hong chamber - the main convention hall of the National Assembly building and 792 local bridges. It drew the participation of nearly 70,000 delegates nationwide.
Addressing at the event, Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and head of the PCC’s Commission on Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong said that the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle have become a regular activity of officials, Party members and people nationwide, contributing to the country’s development in many aspects.
He said the response of the community to the movement has contributed to realising the 12th National Party Congress’s resolution, helping promote administrative reform, anti-corruption, building a pure and strong Party and political system, and preventing degradation in political ideology, morality and lifestyle as well as signs of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation”.
Along with aiding Party building resolutions and directions, the efficient implementation of Directive 05 has helped enhance the role, position and prestige of the Party and the political system. The Directive has also plays a role in the socio-economic, defence, security and external relations achievements of the country over the past three years.

At the event, participants clarified the results achieved after three years of implementing the Directive at the committees, localities; shared experiences, good practices and new models; and analyzed the limitations to better implement the Directive in the future.

On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Politburo member Tran Quoc Vuong who is also standing member of the PCC’s Secretariat, appreciated the results achieved by the committees, authorities, fronts and mass organizations during the implementation of the Directive. He also warmly praised the collectives and individuals who have had many achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle over the past three years.
He expressed his hope that the studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle throughout the country will continue to go into depth, creating a practical and effective movement, actively contributing to the cause of national construction and defense./.
