Promoting Da Nang's image during APEC Economic Leaders' Week 2017

A video clip promoting the image of Da Nang during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week (AELW) 2017 was introduced by the Da Nang city People’s Committee and the city Department of Information and Communications on October 31st.

It introduces the potential and advantages of tourism in the central city. Da Nang, where the 25th APEC Summit is held in 2017, is one of the major urban centres of Central Vietnam, located at the end of the East-West Economic Corridor. It is located amidst the three world cultural heritages of Hue Imperial City, Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary.
Da Nang is a leading locality and has good indicators of competitiveness at the provincial/municipal level. It owns one of the most beautiful and potential beaches in the planet, is the "house" of red-shanked doucs langur , which is the "queen" of primate species, with attractive destinations and friendly, hospitable people. With such potential and advantages, Da Nang is considered a dynamic city, worth-living city in Vietnam; toward a leading destination of events and festivals in Asia.
Da Nang has been made ready to welcome APEC senior leaders and Ministers to attend AELW 2017 to jointly work out directions for growth, cooperation and regional economic links.
APEC Vietnam 2017 is themed “Creating new driving force for a common future” and Da Nang is one of the most awaited destinations./.
