He made the statement during his reception for a delegation from the Danish Embassy in Vietnam led by Katrine Lovenbalk Lundsby, the embassy’s counselor, on May 26th.
During the reception, appreciating the province’s efforts in COVID-19 prevention which she said had made important contributions to the province’s socio-economic development, Ms Katrine Lovenbalk Lundsby added that she hoped the two sides would continue to cooperate in areas of concern.
The two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in education and training, safe water and environment, agriculture and industry, especially the Danida Business Finance (DBF), the Danish Investment Fund (IFU), the Denmark's Export Credit Agency (EKF), and STEAM method in education for pupils to attend robotics competition through the Lego project, which have been developed by the Lego group in Ho Chi Minh city. The group intends to expand the project in other localities, especially at those that have good facilities and training quality like Bac Ninh.
Welcoming the Danish delegation to the province for studying cooperation and investment opportunities, Mr. Thanh expressed his hope that the two sides would increase cooperation in infrastructure, education and training, agriculture, industry and environment, thus contributing to strengthening the bilateral relationship. He assigned the provincial Department of Planning and Investment to work with relevant agencies to study the feasibility of the STEAM method and carry out a pilot of the STEAM method in some schools before expanding to others./.
