22 singers to participate in ASEAN+3 singing contest

Twenty-two professional pop singers from ten member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will compete at the ASEAN+3 singing contest from July 26th to 29th in Ha Long city, the northern province of Quang Ninh.

At the press briefing on the contest held in Hanoi by the Voice of Vietnam on July 22
nd, the final round is scheduled to take place on the evening of July 28th with the participation of guest singers from China, the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan. It will be broadcast live on radio and television channels of Radio the Voice of Vietnam.
Vietnam will send three singers to the contest. Musician Trong Dai and singer Thanh Lam will be included in the jury.
On the sidelines of the event, contestants and invitees will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of Ha Long bay and Quang Ninh provincial museum where Vietnam’s history, culture and nature are on display.
Hosting every two years, the previous event took place in Thanh Hoa province with the participation of 19 contestants and guests./.
