6th Hanoi International Film Festival to take place in November

With the slogan "Cinema - Integration - Sustainable Development", the event aims to honor excellent cinematographic works and promote the spirit of cooperation among filmmakers for the development of cinema.

The festival will include the following programs: film contest; overview of world cinema; national cinema spotlight: UK Cinema; Vietnamese contemporary film program; HANIFF Young Talent Composer Camp; film project market; and many exhibitions and film workshops.

With the aim of building the Hanoi International Film Festival into a cultural brand of Hanoi city, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism asked the city People's Committee to give ideas on organizing the 6^th Hanoi International Film Festival and direct the relevant units to coordinate with representatives to participate in the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the festival.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also assigned the Cinema Department to act as the standing agency to co-organize the event./.
