A series of activities related to children’s summer will take place at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi in June.

These practical, useful and meaningful activities will be held for children to celebrate the International Children's Day (June 1st), Vietnam Family Day (June 28th) and promote daily and weekend activities to introduce the culture, customs and habits of ethnic people, contributing to creating a useful playground for summer days for young people at the village.

Activities will draw the participation of nearly 100 people from 13 ethnic groups, including Tay, Mong, Dao, Thai, Muong, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Co Tu, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Raglai, Ede and Khmer. The highlight will be activities related to folk games of ethnic minority groups and the contest under the theme “A small action and a big plastic garbage".

In addition, there will be an exhibition of photos on impressive activities in previous summers, beautiful hand-writing contest and painting contest on village; performance of traditional musical instruments and experience activities how to play these instruments; reading space for children.

Visitors can enjoy folk songs and folk dances of ethnic groups of Ede, Ta Oi and Xo Dang./.
