Ho Chi Minh city will organize a series of activities to mark the 71st anniversary of August Revolution (August 19th) and the National Day (September 2nd).
On September 2nd, the Party Committee, the People’s Council and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh city and the Vietnam Fatherland Frond in Ho Chi Minh city will offer flower and incense to President Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang at Ho Chi Minh museum, Ton Duc Thang museum and President Ho Chi Minh statue park.
Firework display will take place in district 2 and district 7 in the evening of September 2nd.

A photo exhibition on the revolutionary struggle as well as development achievements of the nation and Ho Chi Minh city will open at Nguyen Hue street and Dong Khoi road on August 31st.
Art performances will be held at 19h30 at Park 23/9, Nguyen Hue pedestrian street and historical and cultural relic sites in district 9, 12 and Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh and Can Gio district.
There will be a bicycle race on September 2nd and the international table-tennis tour in late August at Nguyen Du club in district 1./.
