Along with Cai Rang floating market, Ninh Kieu wharf and Bang Lang stork garden, Tay Do land is also famous for Binh Thuy ancient house on Bui Huu Nghia street, the southern city of Can Tho.
The ancient house has unique architecture and preserves many cultural and living features of the Southern region.
It was originally the house of the Duong family, originated from Dong Thap, and fled to Binh Thuy, Can Tho to create a career. The house was built by Mr. Duong Chan Ky in 1870 (the third generation of the Duong family). The construction took about 20 years to complete.
It is located on Bui Huu Nghia street, Binh Thuy precinct, Binh Thuy district, Can Tho city. The house is a harmonious combination between Eastern and Western culture, creating the ancient and modern beauty.
