The event drew the participation of Party and State leaders
The event was held by CPV Online Newspaper in coordination with the Department of National Devotees under the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant agencies to mark the 73rd anniversary of Vietnamese Fallen and Wounded Soldiers’ Day (July 27th).
Over the past 12 years, the Programme Organizing Committee has mobilized nearly VND60 billion from social organizations, enterprises and individuals nationwide to present 610 houses of gratitude, more than 11,000 savings books, more than 5,500 scholarships and many valuable gifts to families of fallen and wounded soldiers, Vietnamese heroic mothers, families with meritorious services to the revolution, poor students in provinces and cities across the country.
In the framework of this year’s programme, leaders of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Popularization and CPV Online Newspaper visited and donated six gratitude houses, more than 100 savings books and more than 1,000 gifts to families of fallen and wounded soldiers, Vietnamese heroic mothers in different localities.
