Book exhibitions in celebration of 75th anniversary of National Day

An exhibition on special publications is taking place in Ho Chi Minh city from August 31 to September 6 and another book exhibition is also held virtually on the website Book365.vn from September 1-15.

 

Book exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City


The Organizing Board of Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (Nguyen Van Binh street, district 1) has held an exhibition on special publications to celebrate the 75th anniversary of National Day (September 2).

Books are on display under the themes about President Ho Chi Minh; General uprising of the August Revolution and the birth of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the Communist Party of Vietnam successfully leading the Vietnam Revolution, national reconstruction and building; The army with the cause of liberating, building and defending the homeland; and Uncle Ho with the children.

In addition to the display at the heart of the book street, each booth also actively displays publications on the history of the revolution, politics and society, and sets up decorations.

Readers can join a lucky draw to receive meaningful books. The gifts are books with topics on Uncle Ho, history of national liberation struggle, national protection and construction. The exhibition will run until September 6, 2020.

On this occasion, another book exhibition is also held virtually on the website Book365.vn from September 1-15.

Organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the exhibition displays nearly 1,000 documents such as books, pictures, photos and videos selected from more than 40 publishing houses, libraries and museums across the country./.
