Book on Vietnamese communal house architecture

On August 9th, the Institute for the Conservation of Monuments (ICM) under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism introduced the first volume of the book on Vietnamese communal house architecture.

The book collects data on the architecture of 15 typical communal houses in Northern Vietnam. It provides information on history, architecture and monument sculptures, along with assessments of experts. Several documents are being made public for the first time.

Other outstanding Vietnamese communal houses will be introduced in the next volume.
