Bringing ethnic culture into schools in districts in Quang Ninh

This has contributed to improving cultural and spiritual activities, creating more love for students and pride in their cultural traditions.

Dao ethnic cultural preservation festival is held every November in schools in Quang Son and Quang Duc communes, Hai Ha district. In addition, a contest to study Dao ethnic culture, performances of traditional clothes and brocade weaving, and chung cake making contest are organized. The event aims to honour Dao ethnic cultural identities, and encourage artisans from the two communes to preserve their traditional cultural beauty together with local people and students.

The mountainous market is held every March at Ba Che boarding school in Ba Che town, with the participation of ethnic minority groups in the district. Local products are also introduced at the event. Traditional clothes of ethnic minority groups are also introduced and performed./.
