Ca tru singing performance in Hanoi

Artisan Pho Thi Kim Duc is the daughter of Choir Master Pho Dinh On of Kham Thien Ca tru singing Club, famous in Hanoi at the beginning of the 20th century.  She started to learn at the age of 7 and spent 30 years researching and teaching the singing style to different generations.

In October 2017, she opened Kim Duc Ca Inn, a professional Ca Tru singing theatre in Hanoi, to organize performances and popularize the singing tradition in daily life.

Artisan Kim Duc and her students will perform worshipping works at the temple associated with the royal goddess, praising the merit of national heroes, celebrities and the ancestors of specific professions./.
