Cherry blossom exhibition leaves deep impression

On March 13th, Politburo member, National Assembly chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan visited the cherry blossom exhibition at Ly Thai To Park, Hoan Kiem district.

The chairwoman of National Assembly expressed her pleasure at the organization of the exhibition. She lauded the effective coordination between Hanoi and relevant agencies in organising the meaningful event, serving locals and tourists in the capital city.

Also on March 13th, the organising board decided to extend the event by another one day to March 14th, as the exhibition was still attracting many visitors who came to enjoy the typical flower from Japan. The organisers reviewed and replaced withered flowers to serve visitors. 

As many as 1,200 blossom branches and 50 cherry trees were displayed, along with various types of flowers grown in Vietnam, such as orchids and roses.

Several art performances featuring Vietnamese and Japanese artists were held at the event, along with a showcase of Ao dai.

The event is co-organised by the People’s Committee of Hanoi, the Wanokai International Culture Association (WICA) from Japan, and the AIC Company./.
