Circus performances at pedestrian street nearby Hoan Kiem lake over the past weekend were part of activities in the framework of International Circus Festival 2019 in Hanoi from October 15th to 20th.

Around 200 local and international circus artists delivered an array of exciting performances to entertain tourists at the pedestrian zone.
International Circus Festival 2019 drew the participation of nine countries.
Aside from Vietnamese performers, the festival drew artistic troupes from eight countries including Australia, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Egypt, Hungary, Laos and Singapore. It was held to promote co-operation in culture and arts between Vietnam and other countries worldwide.

The teams competed in a variety of different genres, including acrobatics, juggling, balancing, magic, and comedy, with each performance lasting for between seven and 12 minutes./.
