Concerts in Vietnam to celebrate Russia’s Independence Day

The free annual “Arts Ambassador” concert is taking place in major cities in Vietnam from June 6th to 8th to celebrate Russia’s Independence Day (June 12th).

The concerts (at 19h00) are being held at the Vietnam National Academy of Music (VNAM) in Hanoi on June 6th, at Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre in the central city Da Nang on June 7th, and at Ho Chi Minh city Conservatory of Musicon June 8th.

The event will be sponsored by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi, in collaboration with the Saint Petersburg House of Music.

It will draw the participation of professional actors from the Saint Petersburg House of Music, promising to delight Vietnamese music lovers with well-known works by famous composers. It will feature outstanding pieces created for violin and piano by world famous composers, including Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov, Franz Liszt, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Alexander Glazunov.

Besides, it is an opportunity for Vietnamese music enthusiasts to learn more about Russian classical music and also contribute to strengthening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Russia, as well as improving mutual understanding between the two peoples./.
