Concerts marks 45th anniversary of Vietnam - Finland diplomatic relations

The Quintet of the Seinajoki City Orchestra (Finland) will conduct a Finnish Music Night at Worker Cinema in Hanoi on December 5th to mark the 45th anniversary of Vietnam - Finland diplomatic relations.

The event is also held to mark Finland National Day (December 6th) and the 10th anniversary of the relationship between Hanoi and the South Ostrobonia region.

The group will also hold a performance and exchange at the Hanoi College of Art on December 7th.

The group will perform Finnish songs by composers such as Jean Sibelius, Joonas Kokkonen, Atso Almila and Lauri Toivio. In addition, artist Fago Jouko Viljanen from the group will orchestrate the folk songs of South Ostrobothnia.

On this occasion, the Vietnam-Finland Friendship Association will coordinate with the Hanoi College of Art to organize an exhibition on paintings and photographs on Finland and its people./.
