Tam Ky city People’s Committee, the central province of Quang Nam, has inaugurated Tam Thanh Community Artistic Village and received Vietnam’s record on the first and largest coracle collection in Vietnam.
This is the first tourism development project with ideas and products implemented by the community. It also develops solutions on sustainable living for local people.
After eight months of implementation, on the coastal road in Tam Thanh commune, 111 coracles and old seafaring tools were turned into art pieces by artisans, painters and local people to mark the 111th founding anniversary of Tam Ky city.
