Cultural activities in Hanoi Old Quarter from October 5th to 9th

Diverse cultural activities will take place in Hanoi Old Quarter and the mural space of Phung Hung street from October 5th to 9th to mark the 64th anniversary of the capital’s liberation (October 10th).

At Phung Hung mural street, Hang Ma precinct, the Management of Hanoi Old Quarter will coordinate with A Designer Fashion Academy - Hanoi to organize a fashion show on autumn-winter and artistic performances from October 5th to 7th.

Diverse activities will be held, including fashion shows, tips about the art of makeup and hairstyling, photo-shoots with costumes in the collections, performances of traditional music and guidelines for playing folk games.

At Kim Ngan Communal House at No.42 and No.44 Hang Bac street, on October 9th, there will be a program on Vietnam’s traditional craft villages where visitors will gain insights about carving and jewelry, and have an exchange with artisans from craft villages.

These cultural activities aim to promote the value of heritage and heighten public responsibility for preserving heritages and boosting tourism development./.
