Cultural activities in Hanoi on national holidays

According to Hanoi City People’s Committee, diverse cultural and sports activities will be held in several districts of the city to celebrate the upcoming great national festivals.
The great national festivals will be the 42nd anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th) and May Day, the 63rd anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, and the 127th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth.

Accordingly, to mark the 42nd anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30th) and May Day, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will coordinate with localities, departments, committees and organizations to organize cultural and sports activities and decorate streets to celebrate the great national festivals; artistic performances in districts; along with an artistic programme and fashion show at Hoan Kiem Lake area.
To mark the 63rd anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, and the 127th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth, artistic performances to praise the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and Dien Bien Phu victory will be held at outdoor stages in districts in the city./.
