A cultural exchange to mark the 42nd anniversary of Laos’ National Day (December 2nd) has taken place at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in Hanoi.

The event drew the participation of five universities and academies, including the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, University of Communications and Transport, Hanoi Law University, Foreign Trade University and Hanoi University of Culture.
It was an opportunity to help Laos students meet and exchange with Vietnamese students, and help each other in studying and daily life.
Art performances by both Vietnamese and Lao students showed warm melodies and lively images about traditional culture of the two countries.
It was also a chance to popularize specific Lao cultural characteristic to Vietnamese students, promoting the solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Laos./.
