Cultural program “Spring colours across Vietnam” 2018

The cultural program “Spring colours across Vietnam” 2018 will take place from February 24th to 25th at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, Son Tay town, Hanoi.

The activity will contribute to honouring cultural identities of Vietnamese ethnic groups, increasing national great unity and bringing the traditional lunar New Year to visitors during the beginning days of spring.

It will draw the participation of about 200 village heads, intellectuals, and outstanding artisans from 14 provinces and cities nationwide.

The highlight is the reinstatement of Gau Tao festival of Mong ethnic minority group, which was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in December 2012 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Visitors have the chance to enjoy the reinstatement of wedding of Bo Y ethnic group in Lao Cai province, tree-planting festival, clown circus, special foods from different regions, folk games and exhibitions of festivals in mountainous areas and activities welcoming lunar New Year of people in mountainous provinces./.
