Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism pays tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

On August 31, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hung offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the H67 relic and visited some relics at President Ho Chi Minh relic sites at Presidential Palace.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hung affirmed the sacred value of each relic, artifacts and documents of the President Ho Chi Minh relic site. He also emphasized the relic site is a gathering place, spreading thoughts, soul and essence of President Ho Chi Minh.  He also appreciated the staff at the relic site who have always made efforts and tried to fulfill their sacred responsibility, full of honor and pride.

Mr. Hung expressed his wish that the relic site will continue to promote the tradition through many generations. He said that this sacred address should continue to be a place to keep fire and spread fire for generations; efforts to overcome difficulties to improve work efficiency. In particular, it is necessary to promote and spread further the value of the invaluable heritages left by Uncle Ho.

Also in the morning, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hung worked with the Ho Chi Minh Museum. At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Hung heard the report on the operation of the Museum in general and from the beginning of 2020 up to now; and the development orientation of the museum and recommendations and proposals to improve operational efficiency in the coming time./.
