Discovering Russian culture in Hanoi

It was also part of activities to realize the cooperation programme in the 2019-2021 period between Hanoi and Moscow in the framework of Vietnam Prime Minister’s visit to Russian Federation in late May, 2019, contributing to the success of the Vietnam – Russia Cross Year and towards to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Russia.

During the “Moscow Days in Hanoi”, street performances near by Hoan Kiem Lake, a ballet show at the Hanoi Opera House, an exhibition on Russian poet Alexander Pushkin at the Russian Center of Science and Culture, an exhibition of Moscow’s landscapes at Lenin Park, and children’s football matches at Hang Day Stadium were held.

The two cities will sign a cooperation agreement in the 2020-2023 period, and hold seminars to share experiences in human resources, employment, social welfare, healthcare, urban environment, heritage conservation, trade and tourism./.
