Donating valuable pieces of the Vuong family to Ho Chi Minh Museum

Vuong Quynh Xuan's family in the northeastern mountainous province of Ha Giang has donated two valuable pieces of the Vuong family to Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi.

The two pieces of memorabilia was kept over the past five decades by Vuong Quynh Xuan family. Mr Xuan is a grandson of Vuong Chi Sinh (ie Vuong Chi Thanh) who was former National Assembly (NA) deputy in the first and second NA tenure.

According to information from the Vuong family, the two pieces of memorabilia were given by President Ho Chi Minh to Vuong Chi Sinh. They included a steel alloy sword, made by the Ministry of Defence’s military workshop under the direction of Uncle Ho and a padded waistcoat presented to Uncle Ho in 1950 by the Vietnam Women's Union - Hai Duong province chapter.

The valuable objects expressed the deep concern and sentiment of President Ho Chi Minh to Vuong Chi Sinh, a leader of the Mong ethnic people in Ha Giang, who was enlightened by the revolution and then followed to serve the national revolution./.
