Dong Lac communal house: A new cultural space for heritage lovers

Situated at 38 Hang Dao street in Hanoi, Dong Lac communal house has met the criteria to serve tourists from January 3rd to preserve and promote tangible and intangible cultural values.

Becoming a new cultural space for heritage lovers and a new destination for tourists, the communal house will display and introduce traditional craft products; and host cultural exchanges for heritage lovers.

In the first quarter of 2017, the programs at the house will feature the traditional Tet atmosphere and offer free entrance.

On January 13th, artist and antique collector Nguyen Manh Duc will have talk on the demand of the tangible world and spiritual world of Vietnamese people through the themes of the Tet altar and prayers for ancestors.

While Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Thang, researcher for folklore festivals, will have an exchange on spring festivals on February 2nd.

On March 3rd, painter Bui Huu Hung and sculptor Dinh Cong Dat will present a talk on Vietnamese lacquer. /.
