The program aims to introduce tourists to specific cultural characteristics in welcoming Tet of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups, contributing to preserving and promoting traditional Vietnamese culture.

Accordingly, two thousand Chung cakes (a cake made from glutinous rice traditionally dedicated to Lunar New Year - Tet) are made from February 5th to 7th (the 20th - 22nd day of the last lunar month) under a charity program to help the poor.

The cakes, together with 1,000 confectionery boxes, will come to needy people, ethnic minority people and disaster victims in the central province of Thua Thien - Hue and the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau.
