European Film Festival 2017

Vietnamese film lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy 15 contemporary films from 15 countries in the European Union.

This annual cultural event will be organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, Embassies of EU Member States and European Cultural Institutes, showcasing Europe’s rich cinema heritage, diversified culture and contemporary creativity.

Films will be screened at the National Cinema Centre at 87 Lang Ha street in Hanoi from May 15th to 27th; at Dong Ba Cinema at 187 Tran Hung Dao street in the central city of Hue from May 13th to 25th; and at CineStar Cinema at 271 Nguyen Trai street, district 1 in Ho Chi Minh city from May 13th to 26th.

In Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city, most of the films will be screened twice. In Hue, each film will be screened once. All films will be screened in their original languages, with English and Vietnamese subtitles.
