Exhibition on effect of Russian October Revolution on Vietnamese revolution

More than 200 special documents and photos on Vietnam and the Russian Federation are on display at an exhibition on the effect of the Russian October Revolution on the Vietnamese revolution, which opened in Hanoi on October 22nd.

The event is being held by the State Record Management and Archives Department of Vietnam under the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of the Records Management and Archives of Russia Federation, and the Department of Archives under the Office of the Party Central Committee.

The exhibition reflects the effect of the Russian October Revolution on the Vietnamese revolution, as well as solidarity, friendship and international cooperation, contributing to consolidating the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation over many periods.

It also helps visitors better understand the activities of President Ho Chi Minh, the development of the national liberation movement in Indochina, the history of the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; and challenges and difficulties faced by the Soviet Union and Vietnam during national construction.

The event will run at Ho Chi Minh Museum at No.18 Ngoc Ha street until December 22nd./.
