Exhibits show the changes and developments of Quang Ninh mining land over the past period; as well as pioneering artists going to mining land to record the daily life of miners, contributing to the development of miners’ fine arts in previous decades.

Painter Nguyen Viet Hai, 82 years old, who contributed 32 sketches to the exhibition, said, “I only give sketches on workers. Others on beautiful landscapes will be put aside for another opportunity. I have less chance to return to Quang Ninh province. But the exhibit helps me to realize the beauty as well as changes of the mining land.”/.
