Exhibition on Vietnamese ethnic culture to be held in Thai Nguyen

The event will be held by the Museum of Cultures of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups on the occasion of the culture, sports and tourism festival of Khmer ethnic inhabited area in Bac Lieu province.

The activity aims to promote exchange and solidarity among ethnic groups, contributing to building and developing Vietnamese culture in harmony with economic, diplomatic fields and national defence.

Accordingly, more than 200 documents and 150 documentary photos on the spiritual and material life of ethnic minority groups nationwide will be introduced. The exhibition will also introduce cultural beauties of each region through photos, objects, clothes, musical instruments and outstanding intangible cultural values, thus contributing to the preservation and promotion of ethnic cultural identities in international integration.

Besides, photos on the environment and production development in association with natural and environmentally friendly materials to encourage sustainable development will be displayed./.
