20 paintings on Singaporean and Vietnamese landscapes are on display at an exhibition which opened in Hanoi on May 17th.

The exhibition is held by the Singapore Embassy in Vietnam to commemorate 45 years of Singapore - Vietnam relations.
The special feature is the artistic exchange in the paintings by artists Pham Luan from Vietnam and Jeffrey Wandly from Singapore. Painter Pham Luan drew the country and people of Singapore, while the images of Hanoi and Hoi An ancient city were represented in the paintings by Jeffrey Wandly.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Singaporean Ambassador to Vietnam Catherine Wong appreciated the cooperation between the two countries. She also expressed her hope that the close relationship will be further promoted in the near future.
The exhibition will run until May 27th at the Hanoi Old Quarter Culture Exchange Center at No.50 Dao Duy Tu street.
