Exhibitions honor President Ho Chi Minh’s contribution

As many of 87 photos on President Ho Chi Minh’s great sacrifices are on display at an exhibition which opened at Nguyen Hue pedestrian street in Ho Chi Minh city on May 17th.

It is part of activities to celebrate the 127th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh birth (May 19th).

The exhibition also reflects achievements made by Ho Chi Minh city Party Committee, authorities and people over the past 40 years.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh city Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Van Minh affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was a brilliant ideologist who created a new culture and era for the nation.

On the same day, the organizing board of great festivals in Ho Chi Minh city also held photo exhibition on President Ho Chi Minh in the heart of Vietnamese nation and on the city’s following and studying President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, ethics and lifestyle at Dong Khoi street.

Over a period of more than 40 years, Ho Chi Minh city has promoted the campaign to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's moral example, creating positive changes towards safeguarding and developing into a more modern city.

Exhibitions will run until June 10th./.
