Free entrance for women in Ao dai to visit Hue heritage

Women wearing Ao dai, both Vietnamese and foreigners, are being provided free entrance when visiting Hue relics sites from March 7th to 9th.

Chairman of the central Thua Thien - Hue provincial People’s Committee Phan Ngoc Tho has asked Hue Monuments Conservation Center to implement the policy of mobilizing Hue women to wear Vietnamese Ao dai and welcome International Women’s Day (March 8th).

Hue Monuments Conservation Center implements the above direction and informs all people and visitors.

The province launched a campaign to encourage women to wear Vietnamese Ao dai with the hope to make an important contribution to enhance the beauty of Hue women.

After a period of implementation, the campaign has created a positive effect and received wide response from the provincial women. Images of traditional Ao Dai are increasingly spreading in offices, offices, schools, on the streets that have contributed significantly to honour the cultural identity, traditional beauty of Vietnamese Ao Dai, glorify the graceful and gentle beauty of women in the ancient capital and make Hue more beautiful in the eyes of friends and visitors./.
