German cuisine and culture week in Vietnam

GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2019 - the exciting German cuisine and culture week will return at JW Marriott Hanoi from October 17th to 19th and at the Hotel Nikko Saigon in Ho Chi Minh city from September 26th to 29th.

The event was co-organized by the German Businesses Association (GBA) in Vietnam, Delegation of German Industry and Commence in Vietnam (GIC/AHK), Nikko Saigon Hotel and JW Marriott Hanoi Hotel, under the patronage of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city.
The first Oktoberfest was held in 1992 and immediately set a new milestone in Vietnam’s social calendar. Throughout the last 27 years, it has provided attendees with the opportunity to experience a traditional German atmosphere.
Mr. Marko Walde - Representative of German Industry and Commence in Vietnam (GIC/AHK) said that the event aims to introduce the traditional German culture as well as promote exchanges and cooperation between Germany and Vietnam. This is also an opportunity for the German and Vietnamese businesses, international businesses in Vietnam to meet and exchange.
He expressed his hope that the event will be the start of new and fruitful partnerships./.
