Great National Unity Festival held in Hanoi

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to organize the Great National Festival and open the “Great National Unity - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage” week in 2018 in Hanoi.

The event aims to honor the great national unity, contributing to realizing the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies in strengthening the great national unity bloc, as well as preserving and upholding the traditional cultural values of Vietnam’s ethnic groups.

After the opening ceremony, representatives and visitors enjoyed cultural space of ethnic minority groups. Following are photos from the event:

Cham and Co Tu ethnic people participated in the event.

The event drew the participation of nearly 200 people from 15 ethnic groups such as Tay, Dao, Mong, Muong, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Co Tu and E De.

Xo Dang ethnic woman Y Duyen said that she was very happy to represent the Xo Dang ethnic people to participate in the event. It was an opportunity to take part in cultural exchanges with other ethnic people.
