Ha Giang province makes plan for exhibition on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in 2017

As scheduled, "Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa - Historical and legal evidence" exhibition will be held in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang from August to November 2017.

Ten districts will include Xi Man, Quang Binh, Vi Xuyen, Meo Vac, Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, Bac Quang, Hoang Su Phi and Bac Me. The exhibition will be held for three days in each district.

The event aims to promote the dissemination of documents, maps, objects, photos and publications about Hoang Sa and Truong Sa; help local people and tourists understand more about Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos in particular and sea and islands in general; and raise the awareness of protecting Vietnam’s sovereignty over the two archipelagos among the public, especially young generations.


Accordingly, the event will introduce 120 maps and rare documents on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa collected, appraised and published by the Ministry of Information and Communications, in coordination with relevant ministries and agencies and handed over Ha Giang province./.
