Hoi An ancient city: Free entrance on Tet

From February 15th to 17th (from the 30th day of the last lunar month to the third day of the first lunar month), Hoi An ancient city will be open free for visitors on the occasion of lunar New Year (Tet) 2018.

According to Hoi An city People’s Committee, it will temporarily stop the implementation of pedestrian streets.
During Tet, diverse cultural and entertainment activities will be held such as the art performance at 23h00 on February 15th and fireworks shows at midnight on February 16th.
On this occasion, traditional handicraft villages in Hoi An will organize their traditional cultural activities at localities. Regular activities such as spring flower market, boat racing, Tet exhibition in Hoi An city in the past and at present, folk games and folk singing promise to bring residents and tourists a joyous and memorable Tet./.
