Hoi An Ao dai Festival impresses visitors

More than 200 models have participated in Hoi An Ao dai Festival featuring 18 collections of famous Vietnamese fashion designers to introduce Vietnamese cultural charms, natural wonders, and historical relic sites.
It gave insights into the connection between Ao dai and each historical period of Vietnam, as well as the bonds between the costume and special cultural features of each regions across the nation.
The event on June 14th attracted over 3,000 visitors to Hoi An Impression Theme Park.
Designer Minh Hanh, director of the program, says the show is expected to honor the elegant beauty of Ao Dai and reaffirm values of the Vietnamese cultural identity.
