On this occasion, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize diverse activities welcoming Tet.

Specifically, on the first day, there will be dragon performances, folk games, calligraphy and artistic performances at Thai Hoa palace, and music programs at The Mieu, an ancestral temple to Vietnam's emperors in the Imperial City.

Previously, the Center erected a Neu pole on the 23rd day of the last lunar month of 2017 at The Mieu and Long An Palace.

This is a traditional ritual of the nation and also an important ritual in the early New Year of the Nguyen Dynasty.

In addition to the spiritual concept of folk, the Neu pole erection of the Nguyen Dynasty also signifies that the New Year is coming./.
