International puppetry festival 2018 in Hanoi

The fifth international puppetry festival 2018 will take place in Hanoi from October 8th to 15th, with the participation from Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Wallonie Bruxelles (Belgium), France, Brazil, and the host Vietnam.

Four art troupes representing Vietnam at the festival will include the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre, the Vietnam National Puppetry Theatre, Ho Chi Minh city Puppetry Arts Troupe, and the northern Hai Phong city Puppetry Arts Troupe.
The festival aims to promote cooperation in arts and culture between Vietnam and other countries in the world. It is a chance for Vietnamese artists to introduce Vietnamese arts to international friends and exchange experience in arts activities.
The opening and closing ceremonies will take place at Au Co Performing Arts Center at Huynh Thuc Khang street, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
The Organizing Board will select specific performances to make tours for people in northern provinces of Vinh Phuc and Ninh Binh./.
