A series of traditional Japanese cultural activities and performances took place at the Japan Culture Day at Da Nang Museum on March 10th.

The event aimed to introduce to locals and visitors, especially students in the central city of Da Nang, the distinctive Japanese culture, and strengthen the bilateral friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

Visitors had the opportunity to see the Japanese community in Da Nang and Quang Nam province’s Hoi An City demonstrating traditional Japanese tea making, the traditional art of origami (folding paper to make models) and calligraphy, as well as participate in various exciting folk games; and try on traditional Japanese and Vietnamese costumes, as well as performances of the costumes./.
