July activities at Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

The highlight of activities for July at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Hanoi will be a program for children.

These activities will draw on the participation of more than 100 people from 16 ethnic minority groups, 12 Cham ethnic artisans from Bau Truc pottery village in the central province of Ninh Thuan, and students from the College of Culture and Arts of Northwest.

Children will have an opportunity to enjoy folk games of Mong, Muong, Thai and Co Tu ethnic minority groups. There will be a photo exhibition on children’s activities at the villages over the past years and book reading space for children and visitors. 

The village also offers special tourism product packages, attracting tourists on weekends and cooperating with travel agencies and schools to regularly bring tourists to the village.

On this occasion, Cham ethnic artisans will introduce the Bau Truc pottery-making process from selecting and preparing clay, molding, rotating turntables, firing pottery to typical products. Visitors will have a chance to experience this with artisans./.
