Khmer ethnic culture festival opens in Bac Lieu province

The seventh Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival of the Khmer has taken place in the southern province of Bac Lieu, from November 17th to 19th, with the participation of artists and people from 12 localities.

The event features traditional ethnic Khmer activities, including folk games, art and musical performances, costume shows, and cuisine and sports competitions.

Every three years, the event features sports, culture and tourism traditions of the Khmer community and offers visitors an opportunity to take part in various activities.

Approximately 1.3 million Khmer ethnic people are living in the southern Vietnam.
